ABOUT GILLMORE REAL ESTATE

Gillmore Real Estate was originally founded by Chester Gillmore in 1925 to offer lots in the first subdivision that was taking place in the upper canyon, then known as "Valley of the Falls."

Richard Gillmore joined his father in the business in 1948, moved to the canyon full time around 1950 and became the sole owner when Chester retired in 1960. Gillmore Real Estate has operated continuously since 1925 with the main office in Forest Falls on the same site as the original office. A branch office is located in the neighboring community of Angelus Oaks.

As the business grew from a weekend and holiday operation to a full time service company, so did the ownership, leaving the small family business atmosphere for Corporate status around 1978 when Tom McIntosh came aboard and worked his way up to Vice President/Manager of RCG Corporation, dba Gillmore Real Estate.

After Richard's passing in 1999, Tom McIntosh purchased Gillmore Real Estate, continuing the fine tradition and reputation that only experience, success and superior customer service can achieve. All Gillmore Real Estate agents are full time residents of the local mountain communities, no flatlanders spending their days on the mountain acting the part and their nights in the city that they really call home.
